Jake A. Plante, Ed.D., is an Adjunct Professor for the School of Marine and Environmental Programs at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.  He has over 40 years of energy and environmental experience.  After three years of leading a county energy program, he spent 30 years in Washington, D.C. at the U.S Department of Energy and the Federal Aviation Administration, where he served as the Office of Airport’s National Resource Expert on Air Quality and Noise.   He received his Masters (1975) and Doctorate (1977) from the University of Massachusetts School of Education in Amherst.

Marcia L. Harrington, MBA, has 20 years of survey research and management experience, overseeing projects for a variety of government, private, and non-profit organizations. Her specialties are program evaluation and service quality measurement.  She is a passionate advocate for the environment, organizing in local communities to address climate change, plastics in the environment, and other sustainability issues.  She serves on the boards of the Natural Resources Council of Maine and Resilience Across Borders.  She is fluent in Spanish
